Ruth Klein Cook, an American violinist, is a captivating and charismatic figure in today's music industry.

With a classical training background, she effortlessly embraces a wide range of musical genres, including jazz, pop, and folk. Ruth seamlessly transitions between different musical styles and ensembles, whether she is performing solo, leading the sFOURsando Chamber Ensemble, or playing as a member of prestigious orchestras such as the Perth Symphony Orchestra, Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, and Australian Baroque.

As a founding member of the Whitestone Duo, Ruth was awarded a Chamber Music America Rural Residency Grant, which allowed her to live and teach in rural Kansas. The violin/viola duo later evolved into the Red River String Quartet and relocated to Oklahoma, where they became the first graduate quartet-in-residence in collaboration with the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Baptist University.

Prior to her move to Australia in 2011, Ruth performed in various orchestras across the United States. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA (USA), Ruth Klein Cook holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Performance from the University of Oklahoma.

She has also served as the president of the WA Chapter of the Australian Strings Association. Ruth strongly believes in providing young people with opportunities to explore the world of classical music.

She is dedicated to teaching and mentoring aspiring musicians, guiding them towards finding joy in creating their own music.
